Puzzle Pieces

Puzzle Pieces -Tyson B. Troxel To look at life as if it were a giant puzzle..maybe 500,000 pieces and more..to look at each piece..as if it were a journey..each piece waiting to be connected to the next..to tell another story..and as the pieces connect..becoming bigger and bigger..life itself begins to unfold. Where will each piece of your puzzle take you? And will you ever finish your puzzle? Right now, this very instant, I am sitting in front of a computer screen. It is January the 3rd, and it’s a warmish-cold kind of day. I am sitting here, twiddling my thumbs, waiting for you. Waiting for you to log on. I need to tell you something. Something important. About three seconds ago, there was a crash behind me. Some girl just dropped 17 DVD’s. How do I know it was 17? And not 4 or 5? Because, I know. That’s why. One of the DVD’s was “Soul Surfer”. Don’t ask. I just know. My cell phone is sitting beside my coffee mug, just to the left of my hand. I have my phone on vibrate, waiting for you to text me. I took a sip of my coffee and it was good. Not too hot, but not warm either. Just right. The Library is unusually busy this afternoon. And I have to clock in, in 27 minutes. My back really hurts, and the cold pop in my backpack is slowly getting warm. Good thing I have two cold cans in the fridge. Can I share a secret with you? Would you like to know what I have to say? Hmmmm….. Ok. Don’t act all excited or anything. You haven’t even logged in yet. So, I’ll type this message to you and hope you get it. It’s important you read it in the next hour. “I can make all your wishes come true. Every single last one of them. All you have to do is believe in me. No, not me. The other ME. I’m gonna send you a letter. Basically, it’s just gonna be an empty envelope. But, in this envelope will be something important. Don’t throw it away. Keep it. I will send further instructions.” There are books in this Library. Thousands of them. But there are certain books. Ones that can take you away from here. Ones that can help you solve the puzzle. Ones that can grant you wishes. I just saw a coupon for $1 off of Pizza Rolls. Remind me to stop by the grocery store on my way home. I am suddenly craving them and I just had King Burger on the way into work. Well, you still haven’t logged in, so I’m gonna log off and go get ready for work. Remember what I told you. Don’t forget. Promise me, you won’t. -Puzzler
